Return & Exchange Policy – Rios Floor
At Rios Floor, we are committed to delivering high-quality products and maintaining transparency with our customers. This policy complies with applicable Florida State laws, particularly those governing the sale of construction materials.
1. Eligible Products for Exchange
Rios Floor accepts exchanges only in cases of verified manufacturing defects, provided that:
The defect is confirmed after technical inspection;
The product has not been installed;
The request is submitted within the timeframe defined in this policy.
2. Timeframe to Report Defects
Any manufacturing defect must be reported within seven (7) calendar days from the date of product receipt. After this period, the product will be deemed accepted as compliant and in good condition.
3. Conditions for Exchange Approval
To qualify for an exchange, all of the following conditions must be met:
The product must be in its original packaging;
The product must show no signs of use, cutting, installation, wear, or improper handling;
The product must belong to the same lot/batch as originally purchased;
A valid invoice or proof of purchase must be provided.
4. Non-Eligible Products
In accordance with Florida law and standard industry practices, returns or exchanges will not be accepted for:
Change of mind or ordering errors;
Color variation, shade differences, veining, or texture variations, which are natural characteristics of flooring and tile products;
Excess material purchased;
Products that have been installed, even if a defect becomes visible after installation;
Damage caused by improper transportation after delivery, improper storage, or incorrect installation.
5. Inspection and Approval Process
Once a claim is submitted:
Rios Floor will conduct a technical inspection of the product;
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, the product will be replaced with the same or an equivalent product, subject to availability;
If immediate replacement is not available, a reasonable restocking timeframe will be communicated.
6. Refund Policy
Rios Floor does not offer cash refunds or payment reversals, except where required by law. The standard resolution for confirmed manufacturing defects is product replacement.
7. Shipping and Additional Costs
In cases of confirmed manufacturing defects, shipping costs related to the exchange will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis;
Rios Floor is not responsible for installation costs, labor, removal, or reinstallation expenses.
8. Legal Compliance
This policy complies with Florida State law, which does not require retailers to accept returns due to buyer’s remorse, particularly for construction materials and specialty products, provided the policy is clearly disclosed at the time of sale.
